Claims Management

The County Mutual manages all of the claims filed against owner counties and municipalities. This includes claims reporting and adjusting, as well as managing the attorneys hired to defend the owners.

The County Mutual's claims team utilizes a claims philosophy designed to protect its policy owners from frivolous lawsuits. Under this philosophy, the County Mutual promptly settles claims with undisputed liability, but aggressively defends claims with disputed liability.
