Event Focuses on Contract Basics; Provisions that Cause Problems

The Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) and Community Insurance Corporation's (CIC) Property School will be hosting a webinar, "What Exactly Are You Signing Up For? Contract Basics and Tips" on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  There is no cost for the event for members.

Contracts are the legal means by which we memorialize the terms of the bargain we strike with people with whom we do business. But not knowing the principles underlying a contract or ignoring a contract's terms may leave you and your organization vulnerable.

This webinar will cover the topics of:

  • The Big Question
  • Five-Step Roadmap to Contractual Success
  • Top 10 List of Risk Provisions
  • Impact of the Pandemic
  • Liability Waivers

Join us for a discussion of contract basics and particular provisions that can cause problems. By the time we finish the program, you will be able to effectively work through contracts to ensure your organization receives the benefits of its contractual bargain.
