2017 County Mutual Scholarship Winners Announced
In 2007 the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) created their scholarship program as a way to thank their members and encourage education in Wisconsin’s youth. The County Mutual board of directors allocates $10,000 per year for students who will be attending a Wisconsin college.
We are proud to announce the winners of the 2017 Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation scholarships:
Karley Campbell is beginning her second year at Lakeland University with a major in Business Administration, and minors in both Spanish, and Human Resources & International Business. Karley is the daughter of Sheboygan County Maintenance Technician, Patrick G. Campbell.
Eliza Godfrey is starting her third year at UW-Madison with a major in Psychology and Educational Services. Eliza is the daughter of Iowa County Director of Planning and Development, Scott Godfrey.
Jordyn Putzke is beginning her second year at Concordia University and is a Nursing major. Jordyn is the daughter of Mark Putzke, the Green Lake County Chief Deputy, and Mitzi Putzke, a paralegal for the Green Lake County District Attorney.
Gabrielle K. Tuma is excited to start her first year at Carroll University and will be majoring in Biochemistry. Gabrielle is the daughter of Thomas Tuma the Shawano County Captain.
Matthew G. Nigh is starting his second year at UW-Platteville with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Sustainable & Renewable Energy Systems. Matthew is the son of Waushara County State Highway Patrol Superintendent, George A. Nigh.
